From the classroom to creativity, sharing the joy of Montessori-inspired learning
I’m Renate, a former teacher and Montessori school principal with over 20 years of experience in education, including years teaching in classroom while leading a Montessori school. I was guiding both children and adults to learn with curiosity and purpose. When my health meant I could no longer teach in the classroom, I had to pause and reimagine what purpose could look like for me.
That pause became a turning point. I realised that while I couldn’t teach in the same way, I could still share what I love most — helping others grow, create, and find meaning in their work.
Through Create with Purpose, I now guide creators to build online businesses that feel calm, authentic, and aligned with who they are. My approach is rooted in the same Montessori principles that shaped my career and my life as a mother of two: gentle guidance, independence, and trust in the process.
When I’m not creating or connecting with my community, you’ll find me enjoying quiet moments with my family, knitting, reading, or sitting with a cup of tea with a notebook full of new ideas.
